This image represents humanism and how fragile we are.
A coiled figure wich is about to burst like a seed, only to bloom back to life.
The centre of the figure, the empty womb, symbolising rebirth, shining a light at the end of a tunnel.
Paying hommage to those who were affected by the covid pandemic.
This figure was formed/ sculpted by my partner Andy Sheppard. Recently Andy and myself decided to have an edition made in bronze in various patinas.
Comes in a wooden box wich can be used as a plinth.
This is the fourth bronze from an edition of 9.

Bronze torso originally hand sculpted by myself and my partner Monique Robben.
We made it especially to be cast in bronze. This is the fourth edition of 9. Finished with a low matt wax.
